Hi! My name is Julie Souther and I am one of the new Kindergarten teachers here at Hebron Christian. I am thrilled to be working with your children this year. I am a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.A. in English Literature. Later on, I received my teaching certification from Mercer University and completed my Master's degree in Education with a focus in reading and writing. I taught 2nd grade and Kindergarten in Gwinnett County schools for 10 years and was a substitute teacher here for two years. Currently, I reside in Auburn, Georgia with my husband Tim and three daughters, Madelyn (16), Lily (12) and Bella (9). All of my children are students here at Hebron. Our family attends 12Stone Church. We have two dogs (Rosie and Pepper), a guinea pig (Snuggles) and two fish. I am looking forward to helping my students grow spiritually and academically. I have high expectations for my students so that they are prepared to move up to first grade!
